A mommy makeover combines procedures such as tummy tuck, breast lift or augmentation, and liposuction to restore the body after pregnancy and breastfeeding. At The Sculptique Aesthetics in Mumbai, we tailor the combination to your goals, safety and recovery. The aim is to address the abdomen, breasts and stubborn fat in a coordinated way—either in one operation or in two stages—so you can enjoy a smoother, more confident silhouette.
Whether you have had one child or several, a detailed consultation helps us recommend which procedures to combine and in what order. We prioritise safety and realistic recovery time so you can plan with confidence.
What it is
A mommy makeover is not one fixed operation but a customised combination of procedures. The most common elements are abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) to remove excess skin and repair separated muscles; breast lift (mastopexy) and/or augmentation to restore volume and position after breastfeeding; and liposuction to refine the waist, flanks or thighs. Other options may include labiaplasty or body contouring depending on your needs.
Your surgeon will design a plan that balances your goals with safety and recovery. Combining procedures allows one anaesthetic and one recovery period, but there are limits to how much can safely be done in one session. For some patients, staging—for example, tummy tuck first, then breast surgery a few months later—is safer or more comfortable. We will explain the pros and cons and recommend the best approach for you.
At The Sculptique Aesthetics we assess your abdomen, breasts and overall contour and discuss your priorities. We will give you a clear picture of what each procedure involves, the combined recovery and how to maintain your results with a stable weight and healthy lifestyle.
Who it's for
Ideal candidates for a mommy makeover are women who have completed their family (or accept that future pregnancy could alter results), are at a stable weight and wish to address post-pregnancy changes to the abdomen and breasts. Good candidates are in good general health, do not smoke and have realistic expectations about scarring, recovery and outcome.
We assess your skin quality, muscle separation, breast volume and position, and fat distribution to recommend which procedures will give you the best result. Timing is important: it is best to be done having children and to have lost pregnancy weight before surgery. During your consultation in Mumbai we will discuss your goals, explain the recommended combination and staging (if any), and outline recovery so you can plan accordingly.

Recovery & results
Recovery depends on which procedures are combined. In general, plan for four to six weeks before resuming full activity. You will need to avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise to protect the tummy tuck repair and breast incisions. We will give you detailed instructions on wound care, compression garments and when you can drive, work and exercise.
Staged surgery spreads the recovery: for example, tummy tuck first with a few months of healing, then breast surgery. This can be easier for some patients. Results are long-lasting when you maintain a stable weight. Weight gain or future pregnancy can alter the result. We will give you a clear aftercare plan and follow-up schedule so you can enjoy a smooth recovery and a result you are happy with.

Light walking is encouraged early. Strenuous exercise and heavy lifting are usually avoided for 4–6 weeks to protect healing. We will give you a clear timeline based on the procedures you have and your progress.
If you plan more children and want to breastfeed, we may advise delaying breast surgery until after you have finished. Breast lift and augmentation can affect milk supply depending on technique. We will discuss this if future breastfeeding is a consideration.
