The vampire facial uses your own platelet-rich plasma (PRP), applied after microneedling, to stimulate collagen and improve skin texture, tone and glow. A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun to concentrate platelets and growth factors; after creating tiny channels in the skin with a microneedling device, we apply the PRP so it penetrates and encourages healing and collagen remodelling. The result is brighter, smoother skin with minimal downtime.

What it is
A small amount of your blood is drawn (similar to a blood test) and processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate platelets and growth factors. Your skin is cleansed and numbed with a topical anaesthetic. A microneedling device (fine needles that create controlled micro-channels in the skin) is passed over the treatment area; this stimulates the skin’s healing response and allows the PRP to penetrate deeper. The PRP is then applied to the skin so it enters the channels and encourages collagen production and skin renewal. The combination of microneedling and PRP can improve texture, tone, fine lines and the appearance of acne scars and large pores. Results build over several weeks as collagen responds. A series of 2–3 treatments spaced a month apart is often recommended for best results.

Who it's for
Ideal candidates want improved skin texture, fine lines, tone and radiance without surgery or injectables. The vampire facial suits those with acne scarring, large pores, dull skin or early signs of ageing. Good candidates are in good general health. We do not recommend this treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with certain blood disorders or active skin infection. If you have a history of keloids or poor wound healing, we will discuss suitability.
During your consultation in Mumbai we will assess your skin, discuss your goals and recommend a treatment plan—single session or series—and any complementary treatments (e.g. sunscreen, skincare).

Recovery & results
Redness and mild swelling are normal for 2–3 days. Your skin may feel sensitive and look like a mild sunburn. We will advise on gentle cleansing, moisturiser and sun protection. Make-up can usually be worn after 24–48 hours. Results build over several weeks as collagen remodelling occurs.
